About My Mates
My Mates Cheesy Nuts were developed by Richard Bignell’s twin daughters in memory of their beloved dad, who sadly took his own life in January 2022.
When thinking about a flavour Richard would have loved, they remembered one of his favourite snacks – a cheese and Marmite sandwich. The result is a deliciously cheesy peanut inspired by those happy family memories and the savoury, umami-rich flavours he enjoyed most.
A contribution from every tub sold helps support mental health charities and encourages people to talk to their mates when life gets tough. Because sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.
