A Flavour Created in Memory of Richard Bignell
My Mates’ Cheesy Nuts is a special flavour developed by Jon’s friends’ twin daughters in memory of their beloved father, Richard Bignell, who sadly passed away in January 2022.
When the girls approached us about creating another flavour in Richard’s memory, they immediately knew what it should be. One of their favourite memories was of Richard making himself and his family Marmite and cheese sandwiches – a combination he absolutely loved.
Inspired by those simple family moments, we’ve combined Marmite-coated peanuts with cheese-coated cashews to create a deliciously savoury nut mix packed with rich umami flavour. Crunchy, cheesy, salty and wonderfully moreish, it’s a flavour we think Richard would have thoroughly enjoyed.
This is the second flavour developed by the girls. The first, The Wanderer, was launched last year and has become a firm favourite with many of our customers.
Hand roasted and packed by our small family business in North Devon, My Mates’ Cheesy Nuts is more than just a snack. It’s a celebration of cherished memories, family, friendship and the people who leave a lasting mark on our lives.
